READ THE SOCIAL MAP

Shared space does not prove shared access.

Two cats may use the same wall at different times while one still controls a landing, passage or destination. Watch ordinary movement before changing the layout.

Look for waiting, turning away, staring, following, displacement and a cat abandoning the route when the other arrives. These observations show where choice disappears.

Change: connect a second familiar entry where the wall and cat profiles allow it.
